Nature Walk part DEAUX!- Will Geiger

This past Sunday, my friend and I went on a walk on the Nolan Trail. We had been dating since sophomore year of high school and about a month ago we decided that we would take a "break". Since then it evolved into us separating but still being friends. She goes to Virginia Tech which makes having quality time for conversation and discussion difficult. The walk that we went on gave us just such an opportunity. We walked and talked about ourselves and what we were going to do with our lives and the Nolan sort of acted as a forum for peaceful discussion. I really do think that the trail facilitated our moods in a way that a telephone or computer could never accomplish. Not only did we come to a mutual agreement on our situation, but we spoke deeply with each other about each of our individual futures and found that even if we don't have a romantic relationship with each other, we are so compatible and feel passionately about so many of the same things that we will always be great friends.
