Daniel DeWyngaert - Belden Lane's Third Axiom

As stated before in previously documented blogs, this set of blogs is about Belden Lane's four axioms that he wrote within his book Landscapes of the Sacred. This axiom is a continuation of the philosophical idea that Lane presents about the connection humans have to certain places and how and why they are recognized as sacred. This axiom is "sacred place can be tred upon without being entered." This is actually a very simple, interesting, and understandable concept to me. It is saying that a sacred landscape can be walked upon or seen or felt without being noticed by people. It is not always recognized for what it is to people. For example one person could walk through ancient ceremonial grounds of the Celts in Europe, or the Native Americans in the Americas, and never realize it.
