the 2nd axiom of rituals making a place sacred is something that I am beginning to feel at CNU. The ritual of going to class and working hard and seeing friend, sisters and others on this every changing campus makes it sacred to me. There is a comfort to rituals which helps you better understand that place you are staying in. I understand how lane used this as a major point of creating something sacred. For example Grave yards are considered sacred for the rituals of funerals that are performed there. A certain gravestone may be sacred to someone because they visit once a week with certain flowers. This is their own personal ritual that creates a sacred place for them
