Nolan Trail 1 - William Pfeiffer

Walking the Nolan Trail for our class was the first time I had been out there this year and only the second time I had ever been there. While there, I realized the diversity of the plants which I had not seen last time. This reminded me of walking through the woods when I was younger with my father while he told me about them. At the Trail, I was able to identify some of the trees which he had taught me so long ago and as I rubbed my hand along them it brought back a very different memory of us splitting wood. It also helped me avoid some poison ivy that I saw growing near the trail.
