Each place has its own psyche - Josh Osteen

At the beginning of Part 3, pg. 214 there is a piece of writing from David Abram. It talks about how a certain place has its own intelligence. All of the beings that live in a certain place share this intelligence. It is shared by the good and the bad things that are in each of these places. This is an interesting idea. I can relate that to college in general. When coming in as a freshman and learning the ways of living in a residence hall, there is a huge learning curve that comes with living and learning the ways that other people around you. Once the group of people living around you learns to live together, there becomes a form of own intelligence for that group of people. It was honestly different to even move into an apartment on the other side of campus and live with people that i've known for a year now. It's kinda interesting to go into different localities and try and figure out the environment that is just as dynamic as mine.
