I think the concept of a place being sacred on three different levels in alliance with the 4 axioms is a very well made point by Lane. THe cultural one, people would fight and die over a place. Is one that I think resonates around the world for many a sacred place. Even here at school people have chained themselves to the trees so that they wouldnt be cut down. Makeing that place sacred for them. YOu have to be dedicated to a cause to want to stand in from of such heavy machinery
