my choice- Erin Comerford

I have really enjoyed this class this semester for many different reasons. First is that I am a biology major and I enjoy having the opportunity to be forced to learn and listen and do work in a different way. So often I get caught up in thinking in such a surface level, scientific way and I have enjoyed being able to spend more time to just think outside of my box and learn in this open-minded, not so set in stone way. Another reason why I have enjoyed this class is because the topic is different than any other class I will take at CNU. It is not so common to take a class focused on wilderness as a sacred place and it has definitely opened my mind. I have also enjoyed getting to hear all of the different stories about sacred place and how different people experience it. From here on out, I will definitely be more aware of the wilderness and what it has to offer to me while I am in it. Thanks Dr. Redick!
