All pilgrimage includes a goal set forth at the beginning, or a hope that one wishes to accomplish. It is often the case that many other goals are met along the way, sometimes changing the course of our journey and altering our goals. There is no way to know where pilgrimage will take us but we know that there will be a change from the beginning to the end, be it a change of heart or clarified affirmation of our goals.
