I watched a video of the Appalachian Trail as part of my assignment for my annotated bibliographies. This video of the Appalachian Trail provides numerous photos along with a narrative companying nearly everyone. The photos stretch from Colonial Williamsburg to the Great Smoky Mountains. The pictures helped with my topic because I have never hiked the Appalachian trail myself, and seeing pictures close up while having someone explain the significance of the area, helps me to build images in my head as to what it is really like along the trail and helps give me more of a connection to the AT, or as best it can without me traveling along it myself.
I also included this movie in my research paper of Trail Magic, to better learn of the experience that the AT has on its hikers.
