Something in the Sky - Stephen Mason

So earlier this semester after a late dinner I was walking back to Potomac South to finish off homework or something (I don’t quite remember). Walking past the parking lot entrance to McMurran I happened to look up at just the right moment to see a large fireball streaking across the sky and burn out. Although I don’t think it was a UFO or any of that kind of stuff it still made me think about how small we really are and if something could be out there like other life or something like that. I recently read an article on yahoo that brought up a recent discovery of a microorganism that can live off of arsenic so the idea might not be as crazy as it sounds. I just wonder if we do discover life on other planets how it will affect the way people approach religion and each other with the knowledge that there are intelligent life forms other then ourselves inhabiting the universe.
