Communitas-PJ Leegan

When I first heard about the Communitas I immediately thought about my Fraternity. I joined Pi Lambda Phi last spring and it was the best decision of my life. during pledging was thrown into a bunch of situations with my pledge brothers that made our bonds stronger than anything. I had never felt as welcomed or comforted by a group of people before I was with the 13 other guys that I pledged with. I think it is because of the all of the hardships we went through and all of the teamwork we used that made us like such a family. I feel like people that walk the Appalachian trail feel the same way. They are all going through the same thing so they can all relate to each others problems and help them cope with each different task or obstacle at hand.
