Jeff Sellazzo-ontological approach in Cold Fever

In Cold Fever the reason business man saw the place that he performed his ritual as sacred can be explained using Lane's ontological approach to sacred place. The approach states the place is considered sacred because it is seen as a place that supernatural and natural converge. This relates back to the ceremony site because it is the place that his parents dies. The business man believed that they should of his parents were not fully satisfied because he had not performed a service to commemorate their lives. Due to this their souls were still at that place. So that place was the place where he could be the closest to his parent’s supernatural souls.
