Liminality - Wynn Prusaczyk
Being in college is sort of like a liminal stage. You leave everything you know, go away from the comforts of home to try and discover what you want to do with the rest of your life. When you return home it’s like your reaggregation into society. But in a way it’s not like the stage because you rebuild your social status in college. So maybe that’s a bad example. But I still feel sort of in a liminal stage right now because I don’t know what to do with my future. Plus the fact that when I go home I feel different than when I left, there is always something that changes each time I leave and then come back. Sometimes college feels like it’s not the real world, cause at home I have a job and other responsibilities to take care of. Oh well, I guess that until I find a better example in my life, college is my liminal state.
