Devil's Walking Stick - Wynn Prusaczyk

I always thought the Noland Trail was the Nolan Trail, but when I actually went down to the Lions Bridge I saw what its real name was. I thought it was funny that the trail was named like No Land. Besides the Virginia Creeper the plant that stuck out to me was the Devil’s Walking Stick. Plants can be so cool, like the walking stick which is full of spikes to keep people off. It’s weird how religion plays a part in naming plants; like the fact that they call it the “devil’s”. It makes me think about how dangerous the wild can be. In general, in life its every man for himself, and in nature it isn’t any different. Darwinism hold true. Just like humans plants have a desire to survive.
