When I think about my future, I think about graduating from college and starting my career, while having a family. The one thing that I do not think about is what I am going to do when that is all said and done. In this, I always love when Dr. Redick shows us pictures from his journeys that he has been on. This gets me thinking about traveling the world and experiencing these wonderful and unique places. Not the same ones, but other places that had a sacred meaning or importance to them. I would love to gain knowledge about other cultures and see how different people live from day to day. Do these different cultures have any similarities to ours? Do they appreciate the sacred places that they have as much as Americans do? The pictures that are shown in Dr. Redick's slide shows, are so inviting and gives one the opportunity to see unique places that they may not have been exposed too. One day, I hope to travel the world with someone who is close to me. I hope to try new cultural rituals and hope to be exposed to new religions. This is just one of the many things that I will take any from this class.
