Across the globe, people are experiencing the holy. India, in particular, revolves greatly around the holy and axis mundi. After reading a few articles, It came to my attention how spiritual India really is, particularly the Ganges River. People come for miles all over India to bath in this holy river. They believe that it will cleanse them of their sins. What's even more interesting is that people will also come from all over India to poor the ashes of their deceased into the same river. What most people in the world would consider unsanitary is actually one of the most powerful religous experiences in India. This ritual is by far one of the most simple, yet most powerful in all of the world.
